We feel our employees are our greatest asset, our goal is to provide a first rate guide experience that encourages professional growth. Our River Campus houses all of our guides on the banks of the Kennicott River at the take out point of our day raft trips; our staff often ‘commutes’ home by boat. All employees are offered personal housing with shared cooking/community space included with employment, an extended term off to organize a personal adventure in the park, discounts on pro gear & access to one of the coolest small towns in North America!
Every employee is required to obtain a Swift Water Rescue and Wilderness First Aid/CPR certifications. We offer a great Swift Water Rescue class at the start of the season. A Wilderness First Responder certification is required in order to be a trip leader on multi day trips.
We are looking for people that are dedicated to the summer work experience and know how to balance work and play. While we are primarily a rafting business, also offer Glacier Hikes and other outdoor experiences. We are a close nit crew and look for team members that are willing to do a wide variety of tasks including rafting, kayaking SUP boarding, Glacier Hikes, Office Shifts, Gear Maintenance and Work Projects. Our preferred candidate has experience in leadership, organization, superb customer service & is self motivated. While we all love to have fun during the hot summer days, employees who know how to keep on task and be organized with varying supervision succeed most with us.
