per person
Fly out of the “crowds” into the stunning Alaska backcountry adventure you won’t soon forget! Our Nizina Lake Kayak tour takes you off the beaten path and into an epic Alaska backcountry setting. Paddle among towering icebergs, some the size of a pirate ship, explore the recently glaciated landscapes, and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch in the solitude that only Alaska can offer. On top of first-class instruction, all of our guides are chock full of local knowledge, both geological and historical, that help gives participants a sense of place in this vast landscape.
Difficulty Level: Moderate
The Nizina Lake Iceberg Kayak & Fly is considered a Moderate trip for those adventurers looking to journey a little further into the Alaskan Bush. Guests will be dropped off by air taxi at a remote, wild, scenic glacier lake. You will be paddling among large white icebergs, away from crowds, fully immersed in the backcountry of Alaska.

We have the BEST time with Violet at McCarthy River Tours & Outfitters this past weekend. The glacier kayaking trip was unbelievably beautiful and an overall epic experience. We brought our young daughter and she had such a great time. Violet has vast experience in glacier science and is a very experienced guide. The whole trip was nothing short of amazing!
